I drove to this cabin on a trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks, down the Alaska Highway to route 1 and then a side trip down route 4. I was wasting time between the Great Alaska Gathering and the STOL contest in Valdez. During this trip I checked Fielding Lake Cabin which I had not flown into because it was out of the way and the lake did not seem interesting. I fly a float plane to get out in the sticks and this cabin is right in the middle of a small state park with a boat ramp.
I visited this cabin by car on around May 5 and things were starting to thaw out but the lake was still frozen. There is a stream from the lake to the cabin which is about 4 tenths of a mile. This stream man be seaplane friendly but I doubt it, would be based on the flow and depth of the river when you are there. Land on the lake, tie up at the boat ramp and then walk the stream. Looks like you could get a protected tie in the mouth of the stream.

Under the window note the plug, the wires go out to the back where you could hook up a generator.
